THE FALLING HOURS

This abstract was inspired by sultry summer evenings where the air is close and humid, and the storm clouds start rolling in. It is full of contrasts: soft pinks and hard black, dark colour and shimmering light, and hot and cold tones. It is both cosseting and dramatic and the gold leaf catches the light like the reflections of the last rays of the sun.
